It appears that you are using a USB scope which is not the best to use for capturing the full coin if it is larger than a quarter. You really need to take photos of one coin at a time, crop out all of the unnecessary background and resize the image before you post it. Chris
And what are the 'issues' regarding these two coins? Danged if I can see anything at that perspective........

Welcome to CT!!! your gold coin appears to be a US $5 Golden Eagle. Weighs .10 of an ounce and value will vary depending on what gold is selling for that day. I tried to edit your photos a little to show your coins better. However the gold coin is way to fuzzy when scaled up to see much detail. Your second coin is an 1864 US Braided Hair Large Cent. I do not know much about these but this coin is a little less fuzzy than the gold coin. With luck maybe someone can help you based on this. Sorry for the odd orientation. This is the best I could do with the op's photos. Did you have a particular question about this coin?

Don't give up, Cheryl, with the attempts to post photos. We might appear finicky but as mentioned above, with better photos you'll get better opinions and information. I use my iPhone and choose Full Image. I've had decent results. Other members use all kinds of cameras and set ups; there are threads dealing with photography if you are interested. As far as the 1846 cent, it appears it might grade VG 8 or 10. From the fuzzy photo I'm not sure which of the three varieties it is. Just a REALLY rough guess is that the cent might be worth about $20. Steve
