My latest Judaean acquisition is the Hendin 1342 on the left. It was a surprise to me that I did not have an example of this type. After reviewing my collection last week and was unable to locate such a coin, I went ahead and ordered one. Feel free to post your coins that were purchased under similar circumstances.
Excellent coin and presentation! Nice touch with the thorny crown. Here's my punchy pilot: Pontius Pilate (Procurator 26-36 CE). AE Prutah, Jerusalem mint, 30-31 AD. D/ Lituus. TIBEPIOY KAICAPOC. Nice coin and Photo, I use a Q-scope and can not get the picture like I want. what do you use for the pictures?
Thank you for the kind words, @ancient times. I’m using cellphone shots of the coins and then taking the images into Adobe PhotoShop where I separate them from the background. I make a few adjustments such as lighting, contrast, and color. I then save the images and import them into Adobe InDesign where I replace the background image with various motifs that I’ve previously created and add a few depth enhancing effects.

Very nice, as usual, @Deacon Ray! I especially like that you have both of the major date variations. Are you looking for the other one (LIZ with backwards Z)?

A small group of prutot was one of my first ancient coin purchases. Here's a Tiberius/Pilate from that group:
