    @Freddiecallahan, yes, I see the doubling also but @paddyman98 nailed it. One thing you might check is Varietyvista.com for a list of varieties by date and denomination.

    ...condition is between VF20 and XF40 (imo)...50 cents to $3 range...if you held my feet to the fire for a price: $1.30....nicer than most for 90 yo.......Spark

    I would say that this is a XF-40 with damaged rim details.
