1962 coins

    While dumping a load of trash at the dump.. This caught my eye.. 1962 coins sealed. .someone dumped house full of belongings . are these of any value? 20191002_212434_HDR.jpg hard to get good picture. Seem to be in nice condition considering..

    At least silver melt. Your picture is no-bueno to tell beyond that.

    Yes most likely, as they are still in mint state condition. I’d remove them from the cellophane packet, as it seems to be scuffed anyway, so you can provide better pictures of the coins. The Lincoln appears to have a nice color and the Franklin has some value, if not damaged. ($15-25)

    Wow! Wish I could find stuff like that at the dump. That is a sealed US mint set. The quarter, dime and half are silver. Nice find!

    Reminds me of a time.....

    Back in my surveying days, my crew and I were surveying a home for sale and the lady of the house, who was obviously divorcing her husband, was throwing all of his stuff on the curb. She told us to help ourselves, so we did.
    I snatched up a really nice oriental rug, a bottle of very expensive French men's cologne, and a 14 K gold men's necklace.
    I showed her the necklace and asked her if she was sure and she said she didn't give a *hoot* about any of his stuff.
