Quite scary to think that someone would actually buy one of these rings online! It don't look real to me but that's just how it looks to me, I mean I've been wrong before. The fields look too bumpy to be genuine, what do you think? How about the sellers other items? He's also selling powder coated Morgan rings, that he claims he made them himself! I didn't see anyone else selling these Morgans on the bay, just him. The Morgans look like they were made from Sum Yung Gai in China! Neither look hand made to me, just sayin'! https://www.ebay.com/itm/21-6k-Gold...a=1&pg=2045573&_trksid=p2045573.c100667.m2042 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coin-Ring-...315086?hash=item287d8142ce:g:Wc8AAOSwmNJc7ICp
His Morgan dollar rings seem most suspicious to me, while I'm not sure about the St. Gaudens- it could be real. (It's hard to determine a coin's authenticity after it has been deformed like this.) Real or not, personally, I've never enjoyed the defacement of gold/silver coins for jewelry.
He states in his description of the coins/rings: "All rings will be made from beautifully Uncirculated High Grade Coins!" Seems poignant when buying a totally defaced coin as jewelry
I agree about the Morgans. I don't know for absolute certain about his St. Gaudens but I've seen other's and the surface just don't look right on his!
I'm thinking about buying the gold ring. The price is a little high, maybe he will negotiate. Seems legit but what do I know.
