Newest Ancient Collector and First Ancient Coin

As most of you know, my son, FFIII was born a few weeks ago. In a thread last week about Byzantine Anonymous Folles, @Randy Abercrombie was kind enough to offer to send a beautiful Follis our way. This is FFIII's first ancient coin and will be the bedrock of his future collection. Up until this point he only has had the 2019 US mint sets for his birth year.



If I've attributed it correctly, I believe it is from the reign of Constantine X (1059-1067)

You and me both. The next show that FFIVN and I will go to is the Baltimore show. We will see what kind of funds we are working with though.

 

Two shows this weekend both up 83.

 

We are doing Cub Scout Popcorn sales both days. FFIV wants to sell $5,500 worth of popcorn to earn a Nintendo Switch. He is currently $5,200 away form his goal. I told him it may be a bit of a stretch but I guess that it is good to have goals

 

At $250.00 a bag he just might get there!

The littlest is actually not bad. It is his older sister who has decided that she is going to wake up and check up on everyone throughout the night. Can't win.
