When I walk into the store today - the owner excused himself for a second, walked by and said take a look at the Bust halves I have added a few nice ones. So I went over rolled through them and say an 1806 O-109A and the 1807 attached. I new the minute I saw the 1807 I was getting it. The 1806 was a O-109A I knew the minute I say the obverse - before they pulled it out I said the stem is not through the claw. But the die crack just about hit the neck from the 11th star. It was an XF to AU coin, but a little shiny for me. Then the owner mentioned he had a couple of coins in the back he wanted to show. He brought out the 1830 attached. Since he brought it out from the back I thought it was already sold - I said that and the youngster waiting on me said "Not yet". So he knew I was getting that coin. Oh --- I got the 1940 nickel because of the perfect overall golden tone. I just wish I could capture it in a picture.

Now for the cool part - I got to hold and look at a Gobrecht Dollar. It was a nice golden proof. Man it was a beauty - I was trying to memorize the date and Judd number, when he mentioned the price was only 42000 dollars. My mind went blank after that and I promptly forgot both everything I was trying to memorize. I still think a Judd 61, but I can't remember the date or the proof grade. Even now the only thing going thru my brain is - 42K(with at least one other word between 42 and K). :)

You know - the only reason I bought it was because of the toning. My order is the 1830, 1807, 1940 and then the 1822. The 1822 has been cleaned lightly. Now I liked it best because it only cost me 2.50. :)

Big OOOPS on my part - the nickel only cost me 2.50. :) And yes I know you know that, but just want to make it clear. The 1830 was slightly more.:)
