The $2 Rocketship was just released at 9am pst, 2013 B, F, and L. I was lucky enough to have purchased the 1st Rocketship 1/2 dollars for my 2 great nieces, one of them still in the oven. I've been collecting for them so when they reach my undisclosed age of around 63 they may have something valuable.
You have to look close, since it's in small print, but the posting you quote is from Nov 2015. Yeh, sometimes I forget to check the date on a posting and wonder "What is that all about?" Then I notice that it is years old and it then makes sense.
Yeah, silly me, I noticed that after the fact. BEP released a limited $2 Rocketship this morning and somehow I thought this was connected, I'll look closer next time. Thanks
It's so nice of the mint to select the serial numbered bill that represents exactly 50 years from the moon landing (20190720). As if that's what we'll each receive. I'm 'guessing' my bills will only have the requisite four digit prefix of 2019.

Did anyone come across any new Lucky Panda notes? Are we still on H--G block? Is there proof of H--E block Lucky Panda notes out there?
I've got nothing new to add on these--if anyone does, please let us all know!--but it looks like the BEP/Mint store is offering a new printing of $50 uncut sheets. They've been New York district for years, but the 8-subject size (only) is now Atlanta. Oddly, these Atlanta sheets are still described as Series 2009! If anybody orders one of these, please do post the serial/position data....
The Youth Coin and Currency Set 2019 drops on Halloween. This set has a $2 note. Description says there there will be three districts, with a total of 25000 sets. Notes appear to be pulled from production runs.
Their last release of the coin and dollar bill was horrible with only a few that were apparently undamaged with all the bills off centered and in the adhesive part of the packaging. The US Mint is not producing anything that I would consider collectable. I will post why in a different thread.
