2008W Silver Eagle, 2007 Reverse- the only flaw I can find on this coin is a tiny tick mark on the reverse.

Is this ok and not take away from the value/grade? (PCGS MS69) and would this have graded a MS70 without this flaw?

I ususally do not deal with slabbed coins, so any expertise on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Considering the size of that lint mark, it is probably okay, but, most likely, the TPG'ers missed it.

I have an NGC 70 Silver Eagle and on closer inspection (3x) I notice 4 of those tiny dinks or lint marks. Never knew what you called them or how they were made. Maybe have a small milk spot on one of the obverse rays. This tiny spot may be on the holder not really sure.

Acceptable for MS69 ? Sure. Those are really small marks.

Last time I checked, PCGS graded Proof ASEs 85% 69, with 15% 70s. Very, very few 68s or below. Modern minting technology cranks out very high quality stuff. I didn't check the MS ASEs.

As always, the real arbiter is "What do YOU think ?".
