HI all i need help. If any one can find what kind of coin is the this one. Any kind of info would do. kindly send email on EDITED--to remove email address Thanks Daniel
Welcome, but not wise to put your e-mail on a forum. Also, probably not a coin. At least not a real one.
If you don't know what it is, how do you know it is rare? Anyway, the coin is a modern fantasty. The obverse shows Aeneas, carrying Anchises over his shoulder and a palladium in his right hand. The reverse obviously shows an elephant. Its likely poor a fantasy mule of two silver denarii of Julius Caesar.
Question Ardatirion, the reverse of the second denarius showing an elephant trampling a snake, is the elephant meant to be Ceasar crushing Pompey, or Pompey crushing something else?
You are right but I tought they were old from their aspect. Anyway thanks a million, now I might find their history and information on it. By any chance you wouldn't know from which web site I can find useful information on the coins. Thanks again.
Which "coins" are you asking about - your fantasy non-coin, or the real ones posted in responses? If you're asking about yours, the chances of finding a website discussing it are better than the chances of hitting the lottery ten times in ten days, but not much.
