Fine tuning my macro pics so I can list some of my varietys and errors. This is a 1944-D with both the dbl die obv and a re punched mm. Look for the both square and point left edges of the 4's in the date, and minor doubling on the 9, the RPM is obvious
I was going to ask what equipment he used as well. I don't know if my wife will like me using mice to take these types of closeups though.
I just used a stereo 20X microscope and made a camera adaptor at work that attaches to one of the eye pieces. The color I messed with tho, hard to get decent color thru it, but the detail is decent. Those are not blown up digitally at all, just straight cropped pics.
What is the allure of finding/collecting something it takes a 20x microscope to see? I don't get this aspect of the hobby.
