Me and the wife where roll searching today and pulled about a dozen 1943 steel wheat pennies these where the best two out of the bunch. I have a full set that are in nice condtion so these are just extras. Though i would share them with everyone. Enjoy. We also pulled about 50 for our albums to so a decent hull.
Now that is something. Usually most bank counting, sorting machines push them aside I was told at a few banks due to a magnetic retractor for fakes. Must have been rolled by someone trying to get rid of them. My favorite coin too. I've collected them when I was a kid and they were new. My Dad gave me all that he could find. Still have about 30 rolls of them. Nice find.

1943 .......................... just wait 'till the near future!! you all will be finding a lot of steel cents.................and "nickels" too!!! at least according to the latest coin world issue.
