What stores do you buy supplies like albums, holders and silica gel from?

    I've tried both http:///www.amosadvantage.com and http://www.brent-krueger.com.

Although the prices are about the same, the shipping costs is ususally a lot higher from Amos Advantage. A recent order cost me $9.50 for shipping from Brent Krueger, but Amos wanted $25 for shipping the exact same items!

I also like the customer service at Brent Krueger.
I sent an email question about a recent order that was listed as backordered, and I got I reply back within an hour (on a Friday night!). They also called me the day after and updated me on the status and asked me if I wanted to wait for the backordered items or remove them and have the order shipped now.
Very good customer service according to me!

Now that you mention it, those folks at JP's really go out of their way to provide great service. Good prices and superb service, it can't get much better than that! :D

Not too many people would consider storage clam-shell boxes from photo and film stores, but I find these worth it.

Acid and Lignin-free storage boxes are essential for preserving coins along with keeping them in a dry, room temperature area. I like using these clamshell design boxes with 3 ring binder (2x2's and Intercept Shields with Eagle pages) allows the rear spine to lay flat for my coin presentations.

I use something like that of my own makeing...
I show my mint sets/proof sets/slabbs/2x2 all in 3 ring binders.....not all of my coins are in that kind of storage but will be someday....

Another vote for JPs Corner, although they don't carry CoinEdge holders yet. I ordered some of those from coinsafe.com -- they look like an attractive solution.

    Speedy,
How do you store slabs in 3 ring binders?

I use the 3-ring binders clear pockets for baseball cards...NGC,PCGS,PCI,ICG,ANACS slabs fit in and others might too but I haven't tried---ANACS and old PCGS slabs fall out sometimes so you must put a piece of tape upbove the opening.....

Another vote for JPs from me! Great prices and customer service and the fastest shipping IMO.

Hmm. I never heard of this JP's. Might have to check it out. I will still purchase from Amos Advantage though. They just have fine products. I especially like the ANACS style slabs to store my better coins in, just like the added protection and display even if they are a bit salty. I noticed those CoinEdge holders, they sure look nice. Does anyone use these and give us a report on them?

I would try JP's since a lot of people recommend them, but not this time. I need to get some Dansco slipcases and JP's don't carry it. JP's prices seem about the same as Krueger's (some things a little cheaper, some things a little more expensive)
