Found this in my pocket change. Looks pretty good for having some age and in circulation. My flash dulled it a lil.

That is a well preserved coin. Most likely it was put back into circulation recently during the great coin release that took place this past summer.
It is cool to find a coin like that in change.

Hold it upside down and it still says 1961 :wideyed:

Very nice coin, definitely out of a collection. Great find.

First strike is a gimmick used by tv dealers to sell common coins to fools

It is not a proof either.

just a newer coin with circulation wear.

your cent from above appears to be worn down and cleaned but hard to tell from your pics.

You will find a lot of newer dimes that have this look. Many are struck really well.

I thought it was just me. Yes they certainly do appear very well struck in comparison to other modern releases.

I know the pics are crappy and they definitely don't do the coin any justice having it look "worn"
Thanks for the info. I appreciate the straight forward no bullshit approach. Sorry...
Wasn't trying to be another fool with a nothing coin with asking dumb questions.
It's was a nice coin thought I'd share it.
Ill have better pics for the next one.
    Thanks again
