"Rare Coins may lead to killer" http://www.newschannel10.com/Global/story.asp?S=8312174 "During that robbery rare coins, including painted and colored quarters were taken from Stanhopes home. " So, now states coins that are plated and colorized are classified as "rare".
What a tragic and sad statement about the ruthlessness & ignorance of some criminals. A man was killed over a few dollars worth of quarters.
Normal robbers check your trash for new television boxes...but the felony/murder typeare looking for Littleton catalogs...please shred your Littleton catalogs before throwing them into the garbage.
The article said "rare coins, including painted and colorized quarters...." I am guessing that he may have had some kind of "rare" coins (what they are classifying as rare is beside the point), but the police are not releasing that info yet to the public. Happens all the time during murder investigations. Don't you guys watch Law and Order?
Yea that's right; Hey Nardo...we never said colorized coins... you have the right to remain silent.....
If they try and rob me, they'll have to get past my 3 legged old dog first. Then the barrage of legal but fatal weaponry. Bruce
it deosnt really matter what was stolen now does it.. a poor innocent old man was killed... regardless of the reason, its a sad story!
I'm with Bonedigger on this one. 1) A 77 year old man was killed. 2) The media is calling colorized quarters rare. In cases like this the media really does need to pull their heads out of their butts. Or shove them back in till they suffocate. Tragic.
Yes folks...shred everything coin related, including junk mail and packing slips I wont even throw out used 2x2's etc...I take them to work and dump them. PO box for your magazines...etc Everyl little bit helps
I'm serious.......AZ is the #1 state for ID theft and garbage can theft is not uncommon.....I want zero indication that something valuable might be inside, and I shred all home finance, medical, etc documents as well.... Just call me careful
Yeah well better to be safe than sorry. I guess I just live in an area where crime rate is low, I'm not used to anyone being that careful with things.
