Modernman, Back on April the 18th, you informed us of the 2008 W Uncirc with the '07 reverse. Had it not been for your post, I would have totally missed out. Now, I have 6 '07 reverse because I ordered them from the mint right after I read your post.:hug: I still have a couple of orders out there (5 and 6 seperate orders of coins from the mint), but, after keeping tabs on this site and Collectors Universe, I am pretty sure that the luck stops here. What do you think those of us with orders recieved or getting ready to recieve should do with all these '08 reverses? :rolling: Should we hold onto them? I would think not just because of the fact that the mint is fulfilling orders by the thousands by now for poor souls like me wishing that there are still a few '07 reverses out there to be had from the U.S. Mint. Laura, You could always return the ones you don't want to the mint for a refund. I am still waiting on my refund from a coin that I mailed in the last week of March!!! Or you could trade me all your 07s for my 08's and that would help reduce some of your stock. Just an option. :hammer: :goofer:
Laura, Thanks for your kind thoughts! I read about the ASE 08/07 variety on "that other coin forum" :secret: where the variety was discovered. I'm a lurker in that forum, but I enjoy participating in this forum. The crowd here seems more down to earth :goofer: and I wanted to give everyone here a :loud:"heads up" :loud: that the ASE variety was newly discovered. I am so glad that many people here have gotten the 08/07 variety. I only got 2 from the Mint, but that made me very happy. I have to admit that it was a euphoric feeling when I went from 0-for-20 to 2-for-22 from the Mint. When I saw the 07 reverse in my last order from the Mint I felt like celebrating! :high5:
