That hazy 77 is an example of what we don't like. But otherwise, most coin roll hunters would give a "You Suck" award for this haul! Congrats!
Last roll more toned quarters. Most seem to be 1979. Excellent condition! That’s 4 out of 4 CWRS of quarters and 3 out of 4 CWRS of nickels
Do you get your rolls from a local bank? Do you have a favorite teller that holds for you? I don't want any secret information, just what you process is. Thanks.
Yes I got them from a local bank. The teller did not save these for me, but I asked her specifically if she had any older looking rolls of customer rolled coins. The tellers do hold half dollars for me, but they rarely get any. But asked them to keep an eye out for customers bringing in rolled coins from now on. After I scored big on the first batch of halfs I got from them awhile back, I brought them in some doughnuts, and gave each teller a Bicentennial S proof Kennedy in a capsule. They look out for me now. <GRIN>.
Beardigger, some of those nicest toned nickels and quarters would go straight into my US Toned Dansco album. Congrats!
For now I'm going to squirrel them away in the collection. I have $30 in toned Quarters and $6 in toned nickels. Already have them in plastic tubes and marked. I will go through them later and do some grade inspection, however from what I can tell, these coins were put away in MS condition and not touched. The Bicentennial quarters are awesome!
