1831 Capped Bust Half Dime

I just wanted to show you guys and gals my latest purchase. I may have paid a little more than its worth but I really liked it and half dimes that arent damaged or extremely worn are hard to come by. I'm attempting to put together a set of Half Dimes. Tell me what you think of this one as far as grade goes plus any other opinions you may have. Thanks

Looks nice to me. If they grade like CBH's then I would say vf/xf.

It looks VF to me, but the surfaces are so clean and original looking that the coin deserves a premium price above a normal VF.

 

I'm aiming towards a date set at the moment. I havent learned too much about die marriages yet for this series but when I do I'll go after those also. Thanks for the link!! I may be contacting you in the future with questions on this series if I may.
