Since we don't see too many Peace VAMs on here, I figured I would share this recent purchase. This VAM is neat since you can see the break without magnification. This peace dollar came out of Littleton Coin Company packaging and is quite a scarce VAM at R6. It used to be attributed as the more well known 1B, however 1AA is an earlier die state showing a smaller die break in the hair. It is one of the Elite 30 Peace Dollar VAMs. PCGS has only graded 3 at 65 with none higher. This one is very bright white and frosty. In hand, any marks are hidden because of the strong luster. I would guess this one would grade in the 63-64 range. Not bad for 60 bucks.
