Featured REPORT: Ancient Coins at the Getty Villa

I have two or three of those coins, and for a few more I have the type but in smaller denominations , but the vast majority of those coins are the type I can dream about but will sadly never be able to afford. So thanks for sharing the photos and allowing me to indulge in a fantasy that they were in front of me for a few minutes. Honestly, some of the coins in that collection are nicer than the ones in the Smithsonian, which I had the pleasure of seeing in person 2 years ago.

However, the Smithsonian does have a nearly intact Chinese coin tree. I've yet to come across anything as mind-blowing as this anywhere else....
