Well that looks like a utilitarian bus token, but wouldn't go so far as to call it "ugly" lol... not very distinguished, but it's merely mediocre design, not bad design.

Besides I though the OP was only asking about US coin designs? This would thusly be disqualified.

 

I know Susan was not an especially attractive woman and her portrat on the SBA Dollar makes her look somewhat like a man but after all she was a she. :whistle:

Er lol... just a typo, was perfectly aware of her gender (unlike the figure on the Barbers where I can only assume it was meant to be a woman lol...) Will go fix that now actually.

I vote for the Standing Liberty quarter... I just don't get the obverse. A good obverse, to me, is a bust or silhouette of someone... not a blank-faced person standing on a... boat.
