Hi guys, just want to make sure if thats what you guys are buying? http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...ctId=14433&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=13738 Also does the US mint ship worldwide? I ve been amazed this topic I WANT 1 OF THOSE COINS TOO :hammer:
SWEET my mum is ordering me 40 tonight there goes my savings for New metal detector but i hope it pays back :hail:
I can't!!!! I need help!!! :goofer::rolling: WOW! Good luck! Yep, I would say there goes your savings. :thumb:
Yes, each coin comes in there own box, with COA and encapsulated in a plastic holder. And yes, you do have to look through them all - but that is whats fun about it. Good luck.
imho, you should split your order into multiple orders (e.g. 10, 10, 5, 15) to increase your chances that some of the reverse variety will get picked for your order. I've been following the ASE in another forum and many members are getting some in smaller orders (2 to 10 coins), and many members are striking out with orders of 25+. It's all luck whether you get any, and I realize the shipping cost will be very high for you to ship to Australia, but I would split your order into at least 2 separate orders. I was 0/10, 0/10, then 2/2 in my orders with the Mint. I have another order of 2 that I'm waiting for, and may place another order for 5. Good luck!
Hi, i might do that, but what do u do with the ones that are not ? do u just put them on ebay or something or do you keep them?
I've been subscribing to receive 10 of the Unc. ASE from the US Mint each year since they started the Unc. series in 2006. I give them to my son to hold long term. In the future he can trade the ASEs for other coins he wants. Since I did not get any of the 2007 reverse in my subscription order I ordered 10 more which yielded zero of the variety coin. I decided to place a small order of 2 just to test my luck and I got lucky with both of the coins. I ended up with 22 ASEs from the Mint, plus I bought an NGC MS69 ER plus an NGC MS70 ER for $150 and $325, respectively. I will probably keep all the coins and give some away for gifts. In fact, my son gave one of the extra 2008 coins away to his friend today for a birthday present. I will probably give a few to my nieces and friends' kids also.
O.K....I broke down and ordered another 6 coins just now!! I think I'll order another 4 seperately and see what happens. Laura
After I read that there where two reverses on the 2008's. I ordered 2 from the mint. Received them Monday and they where both 2007 reverses. I am going to order two more because I also need the 2008 reverse ones.
looks like i may have got the poor man's reverse proof variety on one of my ASE's when its your day its your day
