I love proof coins. This one was a birthday gift from a coin dealer and good friend. I love the contrast in the frosting. Pictures do no justice to this coin, which is flawless by the way.
Yes, it took forever it seemed. Not sure, the coin on Vcoins might be a different ruler, size condition, etc.. Nothing to worry about the coin you'll receive will be genuine. They may be slow, but they are respected. Ben P.S. After following your like, I see it's infact a different ruler Kavadh II, 628. Likely fewer coins of this fellow were minted.
yeah, I relized that afterwards.. the one me and you have still goes for $45, so we did get a good price still:kewl: stainless BTW: how long do they usually take, they said a week, but it's already been longer than that, and they havent even shipped it out yet.
Oh man, be ready for a month or two wait. Put your feet up and relax, it'll get there... Yes, we did get a good coin for the money. Take Care Ben
Hi Arizona, That is a mighty fine looking 09 Lincoln. The colors are great. Looks almost like it plans on making a bullseye pattern, and that would be really nice. jeankay
That Australia proof dollar is 'WOW'... looks amost like it is diamond studded. Maybe I will have to quit on US coins and start a new hobby... jeankay
It's really hard to narrow down to one. Heck, it's hard to narrow it down to two or three. But, here's a couple.
Thank You JeanKay, I plan on picking up it's match, the 09-VDB in LongBeach, same grade, same color, same outrageous % above sheet price too. WOW, some gorgeous coins folks !!!
After much deliberation, and third party consultation, i have winnowed it down to two. China, Kwangtung Province, 1909-1911, 20 cents - I'm even reasonably sure that its genuine! ((Roman Empire, Emperor Claudius AE sestertius - 35.2mm, 24.9gRome, 41-42 AD)) Ardatirion, Thanks for posting this one. One side of my family has been traced back to Claudius of the Holy Roman Empire as one of our ancestors. Seeing something from the ancestor's time can often help one to feel more connected to those who came before you. Besides that, nice coins you got there! jeankay
