  1. Just checking on this 1983 D penny that looks unusual.
    Not sure if someone could have done this with only obverse with the reverse looking correct. It is zinc, weighs 2.5.

    The coin is not clad it is plated. This is corrosion with verdigris = damage.

    Environmental Damage
    Not a Mint Error of any kind

    Dimes, Quarters and Half Dollars are Clad
    Post 1982 Cents are Copper Plated.. Not clad
