Floating roof?

    NOTE: I’m not asking about value or anything in that area. I’m aware that 1) this coin is in less than stellar shape, 2) they are not uncommon and 3) they don’t carry a lot of value.

    I’m merely asking if this falls into that category for MY edification. So leave my head on my shoulders and don’t preach to me on quality. A simple yes or no will suffice.

    Close but no cigar. Think on those that the roof is totally 'floating'. I see a support on the left side and something on the right.

    A floating roof is the result of an over polished die. This looks to be a plating problem that is interfering with the support, on the left at least. Too much of something else on the right I can't tell anything.
