I came across a 69S set that contains an extras S cent on top of the 5 cent piece. Has anyone seen something like that before? Thanks
It seems like a millennium ago, I was buying some Mint Sets online to fill my Kennedy set. I, too, noticed that a couple of them had duplicate pennies from the SF Mint, so I sent a short note to the seller asking why this had occurred. He blocked me immediately, and I never heard from him again. Chris
Sounds like a packaging error where an extra S mint cent got packaged in the same cell as the S five cent piece. Interesting, unusual but not really valuable.
