I know this coin has a good amount of wear on it, but the ear appears to show some extra thickness particularly on the inner lower part, kinda at the top of the line. I included (picture #3) a close up of a normal 82 so you can see the difference... can anyone see what I mean or is there another explanation? It also looks to me like there may be doubling on his eye, but that might just be some wear. I swear I’m trying to get better at this so please don’t crucify me and do feel free to just ignore this if you find it annoying lol. This “variety” (if it is one) isn’t listed on Wexler.
You're looking at nothing but normal wear and tear on a 37 year old coin. I won't crucify you since you actually are trying to learn and are receptive to our input. I will however, give you this picture of Korean Jesus who died for our gainz. My advice to you is to stick to known larger varieties and stop trying to overly analyze every coin you look at. At least until you figure out what exactly it is you are looking at.
Hey Einstein, if you click on my avatar, a box will open - look for the "ignore" button, click on it & you won't see my responses anymore.
Not sure how you took that, it was intended to be funny. It’s a quote from big Lebowski... wasn’t meant to offend you lol
OK, my bad (I haven't seen the movie), but beware, you are likely to hear from the mods because of the choice of euphemism you used. I can't use it because I will get a warning, but I "[edited]" it in your post I repeated.
