    Hey y'all,
I do a lot of bill searching for star notes, rares, errors and etc. I am always interested in seeing results, post up your latest finds and brag about the epic and the not so epic finds (my usual finds, lol). I like to see from across the world as well.

Post how many bills you searched.
    What type of bills.
Area of country you are located.
And the best part the pic! Maybe with some info as well, up to you.

    I'll go first.

    100 - $1 bills (50 from one bank and 50 from another)
    Location: Indiana, usa

Nothing great today some common star notes of 3.2 mill print runs.

Well, as I was going home that day, I stopped by a bank that I have never hit at. I have searched rolls and rolls of nickels and pennies, strap after strap of bills, I just never hit at this bank as I believe I have a collector in the area where this bank is at. I figure I try my luck, I stopped by to trade in my dollar bills for 5's......nothing.

Then I went to another bank to trade in my 5's for dollar bills. No star notes this time but I got a decent find for the collection

    So summary:
    Random country bank in indiana
    $100 1's to $5: nothing

    My local bank in indiana.
    20 $5 bills to 100 $1 bills
This bill IMO is cool. I call it a haunted trinary with book ends. My only find of the strap, what y'all think?
Only 3 numbers used aka trinary, 6's at each end making bookends, and the 666 to make it a "haunted" bill. Nothing crazy but cool

I like these bills! The first one has a cool number 23333330, cool trinary. I think what makes these better is that these are on older bills. I am having issues where I am at trying to find older bills period. As of now from bill searching, I have found 1 1988 dollar, and 2 1969 dollars......that's it on the older bills. I would deffiently keep these as they have sentimental value and have some cool numbers on older bills to boot. Thanks for sharing!

One of the best ways to bill search has always been, check your change! I got a cool bill when I got my change back from walmart.

    Local indiana walmart:
Trinary, if the 2 at the end was a 4, I would be really excited.

Well, I had a rough bill search yesturday. Went to 5 different banks and searched $1200 dollars within my trips. I found only 2 bills.....super lame. Not one star note.

    5 banks in indiana
    $1200 of $10's and $1's

Trinary in rough shape but I'm keeping it because I lack 2003's. So adding this rough bill.
    20190910_174145.jpg

Next and final bill I found is a 1988 A, I keep them all as it's hard for me to find them where I'm at. Bill is actually in decent shape for the year, has a small rip in the middle top, slight creases here in there. Still a keeper in my book.

Just turned in my $1's for $5's, different bank and I just hit this. Common at 3.2 mill print run but it's a 5.

    10 - $5
    Indiana

The findings this year are unprecedented. I recently found the 1969A, which is just the third one I've found in 10 years of searching. I only need to find a 1969B to have found every $1 series from 1963-present within the same calendar year.

Wilds refers to Wheresgeorge bills that have been found. They are typically stamped or may have a handwritten message on them directing you to the site. Here is an example of a bill report for one.

You're welcome! Go for it. Note searching is a lot faster, easier and less cumbersome than going through coins.

Thanks, I’m familiar with Where’s George but was unaware collectors call them Wilds. Now I know.
