Can’t you knock on the door and ask to “Borrow” a cup of “W”s. Or tell them you’re in a scavenger hunt. Or you’re collecting for a very sick child whose ultimate wish is a “W’?

They can be found in most if not all series. Most commonly found in copper coins from what I have seen. Here is one of my favorites in my collection. 1939CSCWoody.jpg

Yeeeaaaahhhhh, that'd go over well ;)

My son used to play youth hockey. They would play games at the rink at WP. We'd drive to the guard post, wave at the cadet and drive right through. Ominously enough, September 11th 2001 that changed forever. Now we drive to the gate and every occupant in the car must show ID, the car is searched underneath with mirrors, full on Spec Ops. And rightfully so.

Thanks to Lord Marcovan & others.

One of my daughters, Laurel, has taken to Numismatics and silver bullion. She has a dynamite IHC collection going in a Dansco 7101, all at VF, XF & AU. It's Beautiful. She is about 1/3 complete. Dad is helping with the Semi-Key dates (no 1877 ... yet). She is also collecting Canadian coins, as they have always been fairly abundant in our neck of the woods.

For her 30th birthday I put together a collection of Silver Bullion in a Canadian Wolf Theme, as she has always been fascinated by wolves. Along with the collection I created a booklet describing the various pieces. There are sixteen coins.

Since so many members go out of there way to provide us with monthly contests, I thought I would go a little out of my way and share this collection.

Here I'll post pages from the booklet I created, In another post I'll add the actual Pics. Enjoy

Received 2 packages in the mail today, one with a genuine Tamiz square cut Emerald. It's about the size of this letter n. With shipping it cost me $6.86 and it's probably worth about 50 cents, hopefully, but I didn't already have one.
    I also received from a different seller a 1955 and a 1957 Australian shilling, a 1946 Booker T. Washington half, and a 1961 Italy 500 Lira coin.
I got the shillings for under melt, and the Booker and 500 Lira for a little over melt.
With shipping factored in, I think it all levels off at about melt, and that's OK with me.
