Looks like a copper plated zinc cent with plating worn off in places. What is the weight?

Not silver. Cents struck after 1982 were made on copper plated zinc planchets. What you have here is a cent that the copper plating has rubbed off of and is exposing the zinc. Not an error just damaged.

2.49 the weight and you see the thin layer something silver in color im not saying it is actual silver the color silver in the copper and zinc

The weight is within expected tolerance of 2.50g +/- 0.10g. The silver color is zinc. The plating is only 8 microns thick, so it doesn't take much to wear it away.

I just pulled this out of the change in my pocket. Plating has worn in a similar manner.

suck on it if you have a head cold.

..... lol. Zinc interferes with RSV replication on the cellular level.

You want him to go back to using the word DISCOVERY COIN? Maybe he can use his old user name too.
