Is there a 'Redbook' type price guide available for Morgan and Peace VAM's?

A hardcover or paperback book would be awesome, but an online guide would also be ok. Of course recent publications are preferred, but one thats a few years out of date or out of print would be ok too. I just want to have an idea of what I could expect to pay, or what a particular coin may be worth. I am not able to find several VAM's, I have, for sale online.

Online price comparison Is also a very cumbersome way of finding a ballpark value for VAM's. Its also hit or miss as many coins can be way over (or under) priced. So a reference guide would be ideal for finding average prices for VAM's

Anyway, let me know. As always, your input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks a bunch.....happy hunting..........

There is a web sight called Vam World. It should have all the info
you need. Our own Morgan dollar guru and VAM expert, @messydesk ,
took several months of his time to revamp it and bring it into the
21st Century. An EXCELLENT job he did. I hope this helps.

Yes, I use Vamworld.com all the time. I sincerely appreciate the countless days and months of work messydesk did on that site to revamp it when wiki was in its transitional phase.

Perhaps I am not looking in the correct place, but I have not seen any pricing information on Vamworld. perhaps you could point me in the proper direction by providing the link to the Vamworld price guide?

While the rarity scale helps, I have not found anything on there that lists prices or suggested prices for a particular VAM.

    Let me know ok?

...and yes, to messydesk....."Thank you very much for all the work you have done and continue to do on the Vamworld site. I couldn't live without it....smile.

    Thanks

VAM pricing is tricky, mostly because it's a rather thin market. Attempts have been made to print retail guides in the past, but they were received with mixed reviews. The developer of the SSDC registry is still working on bringing an online price guide into the registry based on recent sales that weren't cherrypicks. It was supposed to be ready by the ANA show, but I don't think it was. I need to check to see how that's coming. Meanwhile, for one-off valuation requests, there is a "What's It Worth?" forum in the VAMWorld discussion forums. One member takes it upon himself to track every sale he can get his hands on and has done so for several years.
