It could be a mint error (no value) if there was grease or debris in the die at that spot and when the coin was struck that number didn't. There is a possibility it was worn off post mint, but those numbers next to it were not affected. Probably a "struck through grease". That is a true mint error, but unfortunately, it's still only worth .01 cent.

Your coin is a mint error called Struck Through Debris/Grease. It is a copper plated coin and wear would have exposed the zinc underneath the copper. Common error. Makes a nice example to keep.
