its probably nothing.....but maybe a doubled die of some sort...? I got this in change at Publix the otherday. compared to other 83s i have this one is amazing...
here are 3 1983 cents side by side...........now I'm not i rocket scientist....but i know IM not blind... doesn't 1/3 stand out or is just me?
Well...I don’t know what 1/3 means and I guess you’ll have to be more specific... In what way do they stand out? If doubling of some sort, you’ll have to provide close-ups for forum members to be able to help you...Spark
@Rick Stachowski are you telling this person to learn how to or are you telling them they have it? I do not see it at all.
he was simply suggesting i take a look at the ddr002 in which i would say its very close.....die markers don't add up.its....it is much closer to the ddr001
Reference post #5...I’ve looked at the ddr-002 at length. OP’s coin needs better pix and lighting to proceed. What I can see is maybe a contact mark on the left crossbar of the T/CENT. Its’ position kinda imitates doubling of the T shown on ddr-002. But no die cracks are evident from the memorial bases out to the rims and without better pix no further die marker confirmation can be assessed. Spark
lol "really... you don't know 1/3 means....if there is one in question. but a total of 3 being displayed... maybe 1 out of 3 "stands out more" it's comments like that ...deterring people from coming here. sarcastic "I'm tired of these same questions and stupid people" type answeres from some the "experts" ... but they can't figure out what was meant by 1/3.....those that assisted me...thank you, I'm going to break out the scope in the morning.
NO...it isn’t. Nowhere near ddr-001...but you are correct in that the die markers don’t match for ddr-002. And you still have not provided better pictures...Spark
@Michael Azarian ...just read post #13...obviously you no longer desire any further assistance from me. Best of luck to you...Spark
