This is a very commonly faked coin due to high demand for it. It is in such high demand that genuine examples of it regularly fetch more than $1000 at auction. Unless you purchased it from a very reputable firm for such a price, you should be very suspicious of it, even without looking at it in hand. If you have to ask, it's probably fake.

The coin is too perfectly circular, and has soft details and what appears to be a casting seam around the edge, particularly from 4:00 to 7:00 on the first coin image (with the pomegranates).

Were you to offer this to me, I would turn it down because it's very likely to be a forgery.

It looks suspicious to me, but I lack any kind of experience with Judaean coins.

Moda888, The coin in the photos you posted screams FAKE . The only thing that seems right about the coin is its weight. If you ever consider buying a Jewish War shekel it would be a good idea to get the coin certified by a 3rd party grading company before shelling out big money for it. That would give you some level of confidence. The coin pictured below is the last Jewish War shekel added to my collection.

The coin pictured below is another Year 2 shekel certified by NGC, as Choice AU, Strike 5/5, Surface 4/5, that sold for $9,440.00 at a Goldberg auction on January 9, 2018.
