my new problem is i call every mistake on the coins just errors. the point i think im proving each, one of those coins have the same misprints the ear area the head and discoloration for ...they were all misprinted the same way..my pictures excuse me are kind of bad terrible but you can see the mistakes
I see all of them i know my pics are bad,all of the coins have the funny shaped ears, head, discoloration. Are the pictures that bad you cannot see those coins are not clear and exact. yeah maybe i need to take better pics to prove what iam seeing. these pics not doing justice it seems.Thank You for your concern.
Misprints? There is no printing in the production of coins.. no ink involved. Paper currency has misprints because they actually use ink... (laffin)
Any abnormalities in the die would be passed on to every coin struck from that die. That being said, I don't see any errors in these coins.
no bro sorry there is mad errors and even doubling but thanks for your opinion..here is a tiny example
I'm curious to know why you post on this forum when you've already made up your mind that you really have something with errors and then won't believe any of the feed-back you get from more experienced members?
I am enthused you keep posting, but dissapointed that you still need to learn terminology. Maybe I'm being picky, but it is easier to deal with things when you state what you think you see. Not speaking for myself, but plenty people on here are really experienced coin collectors and dealers (for the most part reputable ) so they really know what they are talking about. Best wishes in collecting
Discoloration is very seldom an error (exception "woodies") and post 1982 cents are so filled with plating concerns, it should be something really dramantic to count. I saw at least one linear plating bubble in your "errors". One final thing, an error IS an error in the die and there is no such thing as a "unique" error.
I think he is one of the those ppl that try and make you think he has an error and believes it himself and will not believe anyone's opinion that it's not an error @COINWILD plz what published book, article, coin book, utube vid have u seen that makes u think you have error's on these penny's I want articles published work and plz to show us that I am wrong if you want us to believe you we need proof of the error form a reputable source and not you!!
you are correct i will try to show it clear as I can and maybe you can tell me what IAM thinking that is not correct about coins.i see mint errors the coins from the same roll same mistakes on Lincoln's head and ears .HOW is that not a mint error? please explain this? Same mistake on Lincolns ear on over 5 different coins. I do not sell coins and im not trying to sell coins ..so why are folks acting like im trying to sell them a lie for profit? i think it is funny i opened a roll and over 5 coins with same identical mistake was in that roll. I still think they came from mint this way my opinion yeah im not any professional not even an amateur..just going by what is here.
I’ve explained this somewhere else before. Here is the short explanation. Business strike coins are not made to be perfect for collectors, proofs are. Business strike coins are made quickly and cheaply, to be used in commerce. Many factors affect the look of a coin. Strike pressure, die deterioration state, grease in the die, operators hangover status, etc... Any minor anomaly you see is just because the manufacturing process is not perfect. There’s an old engineering saying - you can have it fast, cheap, or good, pick two. The mint chooses fast and cheap so you sacrifice good (quality). Hope that helps.
