i actually have 2 of these which is pretty cool imo because they were put into circulation about a week ago and I’ve had them for 2 days and just realized it
FYI. It is always a good idea to crimp down the back of the staples in your 2x2s. If you store them with other 2x2s, the raised backs can easily scratch another coin through the Mylar windows. It's not a matter of if, but when you'll scratch a coin. Many of us long time collectors learned this the hard way when we started Also 4 staples is more than adequate to hold a coin securely but that's a personal preference.
Yeah I usually use 3 but felt special because this is a brand new new quarter how would you recommend crimping just needle nose or ?
Nice find! I usually only see coinage from the 1990s and 2000s. Every time I go to the bank, people ask for rolls of new quarters (possibly to look for W mints), and therefore I haven't seen many of the newer 2019 quarters.
I would recommend a Flat-Clinch stapler. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006HX54U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie Not necessarily this particular product, but one like it.
