This one article by Scott Travers will answer a great many questions that have been asked here repeatedly. It is well worth reading, saving - and reading again ;) HERE

    Very informative article GD!
I will concider leaving my Dropped letter error State Quarter out of a slab for now and leave that decision up to the next owner. We will see what kind of offers I get when I try to sell it raw. I hope to have a picture of it ready to post later today.

    Thanks GD,
Some very interesting reading at that site besides the article you pointed out. I've read a couple of S. Travers books & find him pretty much down to earth. He kinda states the obvious, which I sometimes over look. Thanks again, Dave

That's an exc. article. I pretty much already decided since I'm only going for modern gold, I'll forgo the slab thing. But will probably consider a slabbed item when I go after some older coins like the St. Gaudens.

Thank you Doug, this is very good reading and something that should be recognized when involved in this hobby. Again, thank you! ;)
