Not too bad condition wise. I would say its probably worth $10 or so.

It's worth a few dollars. Not much.

It's seen its fair share of use but the date is intact and hasn't been acidified. Often nickels from the teens either don't have a date due to wear or they have been restored so the clear and original date makes it at least somewhat desirable.

Welcome to Coin Talk. Nice find especially finding it on the ground. Using PCGS Photograde IMO your coin would grade G-6. It's a common date and would be a nice addition if you were filling a folder. I don't see any evidence of doubling on the reverse.

Again, welcome to Coin Talk. Since you're new, I'm gently telling you there's no reason to post the same coin on different forums. One of the moderators will probably combine them anyway. But, to answer your question, yes, it's worth keeping. Sells for around $4.00-5.00 in that grade.

That IS a nice coin, especially for a ground find.

Keep your head down and your spirits up and see what else you find. lol

As mentioned- yes, it's worth keeping. It's fairly well circulated, but it's a 101-year-old nickel with no major problems aside from circulation wear (and a few scuffs which are consistent with that but not enough to call it a "problem" coin).

Not worth a ton of money, but still a decent old coin.

I merged the two duplicate threads about this coin together. Please stick to one thread per coin.

I initially missed the comment about this being a ground find since that comment was in the other thread. Very cool. Won't make you rich, but that's impressive for a random find.
