Your photos are too blurry, and when I enlarge them, the clarity is even worse. A lot of people make the same mistake, thinking that their photos are clear enough but closer examination reveals that they are not. What you really need for better photos is a copy stand or a tripod to stabilize your camera. Sorry! If you're using a phone camera, I can't help you. Maybe someone else can. Chris
if a phone camera, I have good luck using a coffee cup upside down with a couple rubber bands for stability. then take pictures like that without any shaking.
Brenda, welcome. Your cent is a 1981-D ( Denver mint) . Here is a page with the only DDO for that cent, and it is a minor one. Check this page to see the minor points we would have to see in the photo to attempt to confirm. That is why we ask for sharp and large photos like these on this website which you might find useful for information. You are welcome. Most of the people answering you are extremely capable of identification of true varieties and errors and false varieties and errors ( all damage) if they get the chance. It takes a huge number of studies before one can have such skills, but the numbers are against us , usually about 1000 false alerts to ever real one, but they get 'poked' at by posters who are desperate for a big pay day and think we are out to scam or disrespect them. And sometimes its the grumpiest ones that are the best jim
Oh, cripes! Another thin-skinned one like Chastity. You don't like constructive criticism, either. Chris
