Finished this custom Dansco for Great Britain Florins except for the first page which still requires some minor work in regards to labeling. Other than that, the work on the cover and spine was courtesy of an artistically inclined family member of mine who specializes with the Cricut machine. Physically the album consists of five 29 mm pages and a 3/4 blank dansco binder. Cover Spine Page 1 1893 - 1908 Page 2 1909 - 1924 Page 3 1925 - 1942 Page 4 1943 - 1959 Page 5 1960 - 1970
I love yhe Edward VII Florins, but they are pricey in Choice AU and up. I juat have an '02 matte proof NGC PR63.
Awesome! Really cool collection. Great work, it's a really good looking album. I love the various florin designs. I'm thinking of starting a farthings or maybe penny album. Not sure which yet. Love the Victorian and Edwardian crowns and half crowns (especially Victorian) and plan to collect those as well, but will probably buy graded ones here and there as I'm able to. Quite costly but the designs are just so intricate and beautiful to me. That intricateness (think I just made up that word) is what draws me to British coins.
Page 1 For the labels in this album, I used a Letratag machine in conjunction with transparent label tape. Although a practical solution, it is quite a tedious and time-consuming process.
