1855 Seated Liberty BU Coin

    I am trying to understand the value of this coin. It has a beautiful luster and rainbow tone to it. I have seen a few of these go for over 1000 dollars. It does specify as "BU" on the envelope.

    Any thoughts on the value of this coin?

    I don't know the value, but that is a very nice coin. I'd be happy to have a coin like that in my collection
