Hello - I am searching for some details on some Good For Barter/Trade Tokens from the Bredehoft Dairy, Danville IL I picked up a few GOOD For 1Qt Tokens from the dairy. They are really cool and feature a telephone number "Phone no.2" Its such a weird number I am trying to date the token and get some history on the dairy... Pictures attached. The only thing I found on the dairy was an expansion notice from a 1923 Chamber of Commerce Bulletin. Does any one have some expertise on a dating or pricing these tokens? I am guessing they are 1890 to 1920 but that's based on limited knowledge Also if anyone has an idea on value? I use eBay for pricing most things but the arenumbers all over the place Also is there a good way to determine rarity? Thanks in advance for all responses and taking the time to educated a newbie!
Good morning.. Not enough pictures! Just kidding. Interesting token. There might be a few members with knowledge of your token. Be patient. They probably sleeping at the moment.
This is a link to a Tokens Catalogue with many listings. I found your token, but not with a photo. The good news is that this catalogue is looking for photos of YOUR tokens. You now have an opportunity to provide them. This link may take you straight to the page they're on or not. If the link takes you to the "Home" page, just click on the state, choose the city from the drop down menu, then scroll down to find it. They're listed alphabetically. display_records.php Good Luck.
