This elusive rare variety (comparable to the 1982-P Sm Date Zinc DDR), with only a few select examples known, sold for over $3,000 in MS62BR in 2017......

How much do you coin experts predict a MS65RD-to-MS66RD (possible TOP POP) 1966 DDR FS-801 will go for......at auction/private sale?......$5-10k?

    Opinions?

I'm new here and need help. I have so many coins that I look up that are worth money especially pennies. Nobody can help not graded. Nickels and dimes and pennies and have penny on a dime.

Welcome to the coin world, my man. Way tougher than people think. Best of luck, brother! :)

If it was slabbed ,graded, and has such identification on a PCGS label, it should. But the odds of anyone finding one, except from a mint worker or director at the time having one~ the odds are better on the lotteries. Not trying to be bad, just that we see people watching the Utube shows think it common to find them in change. Its better odds a person would win the Mega Lotto with a single ticket. The DDR is difficult to pick up except on a uncirculated coin and Mechanical doubling, which most would confuse with it is thousands of time more common. IMO, Jim

I thought I may have found one once. Sent it in and they confirmed what others here told me... extreme mechanical doubling. I had a super nice PCGS AU58 1966 BN though!

I am still divided as to whether is a real DDR, or just MMD. There are characteristics of both from my observations. Some site is offering odds on whether the eye of Dorian touches beach in Florida. Sending a coin in like this type is a similar gamble, how will they tell.
