    Have you heard or seen a Lincoln Wheat Penny dated 1952 with a 5 stamped over the 1 in the date.

    I haven't, but it sounds like post mint damage. Or it could be a mint error. Do you have any pics?

    If done decently it would make a nice conversation piece. Naturally that would be ruining the original.
