New to group today, actually new to the whole coin thing. But I found this 55 and it caught my attention. It was in too good of shape so figured it was either fake or a collector. This one seems to be struck twice on both sides. Check the n and t in cent you'll see double line then there are more you will notice. Can anyone give me a clue as to what I have, a fake or a treasure?

I don't see anything worth speaking about except maybe a die chip on the left hand wheatie.

You have die deterioration damage on both sides. This occurs if the die is overused for more coins than usual ( most of the time due to being near end of the year and fewer dies available. Notice how the L in liberty and the letters in "In God We Trust" are almost touching the rim , this is due to constant use moving the features to the perimeter. Think of the top of a steel spike if you hammer on it 100000s time. The same is true with the letters on the reverse. No Value added , sorry, Jim

Here's picture with more light if it helps. So is this worth anything?
