I normally don't go onto forums like this, but I just had to ask a community about this. I cannot seem to find an exact price on it. This image is from ngccoin.com: The 10,985,000 is the mintage. I have the melting value (around $5) but I want a real price for someone to be collecting it.
Welcome to CT. Your coin doesn't have a melt value because it is made out of copper-nickel. If it is uncirculated then the "price" is what you have provided. That said, this piece is common and no dealer would expect to get $5.00 out of it.
Yeah, unless it's a very nice uncirculated coin, it's worth its face value, which is just a hair over $2.
Hello, Maybe you could help. I have a few Swiss coins that have y-13s, y-51, y-36 y-32. Was wondering what these markings stand for and possibly a link to more info. Thanks!
If those figures are not on the coins but in a book, they may refer to Yeoman catalog numbers ... Christian
