They were saved by the hordes and to find one in circulation is difficult to do. I doubt they will ever be worth more than face value unless in extremely high grade. I have one box of each in original bank rolls and I have no intention of opening them at this point.
Isn't there supposed to be some kind of doubling on these 2009 Lincoln cents? I know about the skeleton finger, but isn't there something in the windows of the Capitol and the windows of the White House? For me, the trouble with these "doubles" is they're so tiny, it almost takes a microscope to find or see them. Except for the skeleton finger, I don't even look for the others anymore.
Hookman, I think you're confusing this with the Mints Skeletor series, where they show his skeleton finger pointing to Castle Greyskull, not the White House. It was the previous, He-Man issue which featured the Capitol.
No, I'm talking about the 4 coin 2009 Lincoln Cent commemorative cents. You don't know about these ??? On the one where Lincoln is reading a book, sometimes there's an extra finger on his left hand holding the book. It's called the "skeleton finger "error. On the log cabin there are extra lines where the logs meet at the corner. On the two with buildings, there are die chips in the windows. Surely someone else knows about these. Actually Steve, I think you're just pulling my Skeletor finger. Hey, I've got a finger for you , too. LOL
I don't collect varieties and that what these are, varieties. As I remember, one of the logs in the cabin was doubled and we all know about Abe's finder on the book. So many varieties in that it's crazy. There was something about Abe or the dome but I can't recall what. It was minor as was the doubling in the last issue, the dome I believe.
