Hey gang,:hail: I would like to post a quick note on a fellow cointalker, JeanKay. I had sent her a package this week, and just got a note from her asking if the 3 extra 1926-S Lincolns were a mistake. I had a pile of coins set aside for a wantlist I was filling, and when they came up missing, I blamed my cats for losing them, as my office is in disarray due to moving the new safe. In this day and age of internet crooks, take what you can get, buyer beware, screw'em additude, JeanKays integrity and absolute honesty deserves a huge shout out. JeanKay, you made my day ( and my cats ) !!!! Whew, I can stop worrying about it now, found a cpl more....the cats ARE guilty as well THANK YOU !!!!! Jack
Yes, and it has also taught me a lesson, I am the most unorganized person on the planet, maybe now, I'll learn a lesson my wife has been trying to teach me for 13 years......
Jack - while you are at it, I'll take that 09S VDB that you have laying around. And yes, JeanKay deserves a big shout out!
Let us know when you figure it out. I'm in a similar situation, from the buyer's perspective. I bought a coin, a valuable type, and was shipped a vastly more common coin instead, with my coin going to someone else. It did turn out to be a complete accident by the buyer (and ebay records collaborate this), but I'm still waiting for him to get my coin back from the other buyer. I'm not at all concerned about losing my money, but I got the coin at a great price that I may never have a chance at.
