    Is this a Die Clash on the reverse? 1964 D Clash REV.jpg 1964 D Clash REV Close.jpg

You obviously have more experience at collecting than I do but that appears to me as PMD.

But let's see what more experience collectors than myself has to say.

Welcome to CT and thanks for the input.

I may have more experience in "collecting", but, not necessarily in identifying the variations out there. For most of my life it was date, mint mark and eye appeal. I am still learning the other stuff.

Clashes almost exclusively show up in the fields, not on the devices. Not a clahed die.

Here are 4 different 1964-D LMC's. Do they have die clashes or cracks or lamination. They are within the 2nd or 3rd openings from the left. 2, 3 and 4 seem to be identical. All came from the same mint roll. 1964 D #1.jpg 1964 D #2.jpg 1964 D #3.jpg 1964 D #4.jpg

Hard to say with the pics. See if you can see the upside down transfer of design images from the obverse - like the outline of Lincoln's head, or details of his coat.

    OK, I'll look closer.

I can't see much else. The 3 LMC's with diagonal lines in the field between the 3rd and 4th column seem to be where the back of the jacket would be. And, they are identical and from the same roll. They don't look like die scratches or polish marks to me. Thanks for the help.
