1984 Lincoln cent error

    Features like this (and like all the bumps) in coins after 1982 are bubbles or blisters due to the plating process...hence the term crappy Zincolns.

    Plating blister. The entire penny is starting to corrode under the thin copper layer. Meow is sure that is what it is. That is why the entire penny is bumpy.
